Angelo Dundee(born Angelo Mirena; August 30,1921- February
1, 2012) was a great trainer and a true Hall of Famer.
Angelo was best known for his work with Muhammad Ali, but
he also trained 15 other World Champions. George Foreman,
Jimmy Ellis, Carmen Basilio, Luis Rodriguez, Willie Pastrano, Michael Nunn,Trevor Berbick, and Sugar Ray Leonard to
name a few.
Born in the fight Mecca of Philadelphia of Italian descent,
Dundee left Philly for New York and then later to Miami
